Safe Track Risk Management (STRM) helps organisations understand and manage the safety and compliance risks across their buildings and estates.
We provide competent support in building safety, fire safety, health and safety, asbestos and water safety. Our work ranges from individual risk assessments and technical reviews to ongoing support for complex buildings and portfolios.

Buildings generate a large volume of information: assessments, surveys, drawings, certificates, inspection records, contractor reports and maintenance data. Yet a critical decision can still depend on evidence that is missing, inconsistent or spread across different organisations.
Safe Track Building Intelligence helps you bring that information together and understand what it means. We review the evidence, identify gaps, investigate how risks and responsibilities interact, and set out the decisions and actions needed to move forward.
This can support a specific building safety concern, a mixed-use building with overlapping duties, a proposed project, due diligence or a wider portfolio review. Visual records and specialist surveys can be used where they help answer a defined question
Custodia is the compliance platform we are developing to support the continuing management of buildings and estates.
It is designed to bring key documents, assets, inspections and actions into a more usable system, helping teams see what they hold, what is due, who owns an action and what evidence shows it has been completed.
Our consultancy work helps establish the right questions and decisions. Custodia is being developed to help teams maintain that picture and manage the work that follows.

Our Founder
Safe Track Risk Management was founded by Ed Bedingfield, a safety, health and environmental management graduate with more than 20 years’ experience in risk management and compliance.
Ed’s work includes complex fire risk assessments, building safety case support, health and safety systems and practical guidance for property and estates teams. He founded Safe Track to give clients direct access to experienced advice and support that continues beyond delivery of a report.
Ed is also leading the development of Safe Track Building Intelligence and Custodia, connecting sound technical judgement with clearer information and better management of ongoing actions.
